The long awaited update to the Ram HD is finally here, and we are excited to be able to offer a new look and new technology in the new and improved 2025 Ram HD.
The new HD reaffirms its position as a top contender in the heavy-duty truck segment, blending formidable power with refined performance and modern amenities.
The 2025 Ram HD provides all kinds of equipment for stress-free towing, offering multiple camera angles, adjustable fish-eye lower mirrors, digital rearview mirrors, blind-spot warnings that incorporate trailer length, and an available exhaust brake that works with the tow/haul mode to ease both planned and emergency stops.
Newly standard this year is adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist with steering centering, and traffic sign recognition. Some other new features on the 2025 include:
The 2025 Ram HD’s are available in various trims, including Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Power Wagon, Rebel, Longhorn, and Limited. There are also different cab configurations, including Regular, Crew, and Mega Cabs, with bed lengths of 6’4” or 8”, depending on the model.
Ram Heavy Duty’s are popular trucks for a reason, and the biggest changes for 2025 are improvements under the hood to the already impressive Cummins turbo-diesel-equipped models, that will elevate your truck's performance. Despite the diesel’s unchanged displacement of 6.7 liters, this is a block-up redesign. Combined with the new TorqueFlite ZF 8sp automatic, it gives the Cummins-equipped truck 430 horsepower, 1075 lb-ft,of torque, and the towing capacity of up to 36,610 lbs.
The 2025 Ram HD offers two robust engine choices:
Not only is the new HD more powerful than before, but it is also faster. These new trucks can go from 0 to 60 mph in under 7 seconds.
The Ram HD delivers towing confidence with impressive capability. A few of the additional powerful features include:
The available Digital Rearview Mirror with the side camera integration features an LCD monitor that when switched on, provides a real-time video stream from a rear-facing camera. Paired with the available exterior mirror cameras, the mirror also offers a view of the areas to the left and right of your trailer. Plus, you can activate the available wired tow mode camera for a clear view behind your trailer.
Some other Guidance and Camera features include:
“The new 2025 Ram HD’s are awesome,” says Justin Haider, Internet Sales Specialist at Eide Chrysler. “They have deserved an upgrade in the powertrain department for a few years. The new Cummins HO and TorqueFlite 8sp auto have totally transformed the truck. An extremely quiet and smooth combo, but also a very powerful combo. I honestly think Cummins and Ram have underrated the power number on the new engine.”
The 2025 Ram 2500 combines robust performance, advanced technology, and versatile configurations, making it a compelling choice for those seeking a reliable and capable heavy-duty truck.
