Meet Our General Manager, Jamie Jeter!

Meet our new General Manager at Eide Chrysler St. Cloud, Jamie Jeter! 

Jamie met Jesse Peterson in college, where they were roommates. After Jamie graduated, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia and sold cars for 4 years. When he wanted a change, he reached out to Jesse, who convinced him to move to Bismarck, ND. 

Jamie joined the Eide family in 2007 when he started as a Sales Consultant at Eide Ford Lincoln. The next month, he moved into finance as a Business Manager, and he did that for 8 years, until he was promoted to Finance Manager in 2015. He then moved into sales management as the Internet Sales Manager in 2022, until he transferred to Eide Chrysler St. Cloud as the General Sales Manager at the beginning of 2024. 

“We are building a great culture here at Eide Chrysler St. Cloud and we have a great group of people working here,” Jamie says. “We have a hard working team that cares about their customers and each other, and I am excited to continue to watch our people grow, and be a part of this community for years to come.”

“I enjoy working for the Eide Automotive Group because they push their people internally to grow and perform at a higher level,” says Jamie. “I have seen it grow and have helped to build it over the years, and it is a hard working and successful dealership group. The people are also a huge part of why I have enjoyed being here for almost 20 years.”

“Becoming the General Manager is a lot of responsibility, but that excites me. I am looking forward to continuing to build on what’s already working, and improving in areas that we can grow, creating a better dealership and community for people to work at and to buy from. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity, and I am excited for what’s ahead. I am proud to be a part of this team that works hard, and this organization that genuinely cares about their customers and their communities.”

“Jamie has worked very hard to get to this point in his career,” says Jesse Peterson, President of the Eide Automotive Group. “He has come a long way from our days at Northwood University together, over 25 years ago.  I remember in 2007 when Jamie called me and said he wanted to move to North Dakota and work with me.  I sent him $1,800 via Western Union (which I don’t think he ever paid me back now that I think about it) and he packed everything he had into his regular cab, 2-wheel drive, manual transmission Nissan Frontier, and was up here 3 days later.  I am very proud of him and he will do great things for the dealership.  Both he and James Randall will be attending the NADA Academy starting in September."

“I would like to say a special thank you to my family, for supporting the long hours, pressure, and commitment that comes with this role, and for moving with me to St. Cloud. The support has made a huge difference for my career, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my wife, Sabrina. I would also like to say a thank you to all of the teams I have worked with in the past, who cared for and helped me get to be the person that I am today. Success isn’t just one person, it takes a lot of people.”

In his free time, Jamie likes to spend time with his family, travel, work out, golf, and eat his wife’s food.
